PhpPgAdmin is one of the most popular tools for managing PostgreSQL databases. It is user-friendly, yet powerful and you're able to perform any action you need - export, import and edit every cell, row or table within a database; grant, revoke or adjust the permissions for a particular user; execute SQL queries and much more. If you would like to have a backup of a PostgreSQL-driven site, for example, or transfer it to an alternative hosting supplier, you can export the whole database in a format of your liking - SQL, CSV, XML, XHTML and so on. Using phpPgAdmin, you will have full control of your databases and anything connected with them. The tool was in fact intended as the PostgreSQL equivalent of phpMyAdmin, but today the two have very little in common in terms of the user interface.

phpPgAdmin in Cloud Hosting

We provide phpPgAdmin with all of our cloud services and you can access it from the PostgreSQL section of your Hepsia Control Panel given that you have created at least one database. You'll see your databases listed in alphabetical order in this area and on their right-hand side there is a small phpPgAdmin button. Once you click on the button for a selected database, you'll be signed in automatically in a separate tab of the browser. If you prefer to sign in manually, you can check out our direct phpPgAdmin login page and submit the database account information. This option can be used if someone else, such as a web designer, needs to access a database in your account. In this way, your files and emails will stay protected as nobody will access them.

phpPgAdmin in Semi-dedicated Hosting

You will be able to set up and use PostgreSQL databases with all the semi-dedicated hosting that we provide and you can access phpPgAdmin and control them with only a couple of clicks. We have made the decision to supply the abovementioned convenient application with all our web hosting accounts since it combines a variety of features with a simple user interface. When you set up a new PostgreSQL database through your website hosting Control Panel, you'll be able to click on the phpPgAdmin button that will appear on its right-hand side and you'll be logged in automatically without having to do any other thing. If you don't want to log in through the web hosting account, you can also control all of your PostgreSQL databases by typing in its login details on our phpPgAdmin login page. The latter alternative is very useful if you hire a web designer for a website and you wish to keep your email messages and all the other content in the account private.
